Planning your first campaign
Write a campaign brief
Give clippers everything they need to perform.
The brief is the highest-leverage document in a campaign. A clear brief is the difference between scattered output and consistent, on-brand reach.
What every brief contains
- Goals and the one metric that matters
- Source content and where to find it
- Tone, guardrails, and what to avoid
- Hooks or angles that have worked
- Hashtags, handles, and deliverable specs
Assignment
Draft your first brief
- Pick one piece of source content you already own.
- Write a one-sentence goal and name the single metric you will judge it by.
- List three hook angles a clipper could open with.
- Note any guardrails, words, claims, or contexts to avoid.
Deliverable: A one-page brief a clipper could act on without asking you a question.
